Are you a seasoned financial leader seeking an opportunity to elevate your career in one of the Caribbean’s most prestigious destinations? This role offers exposure to group-level operations across luxury resorts, villa developments, construction projects, and marine services. You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and CEO to drive financial excellence across a diverse and dynamic portfolio.

As Assistant Chief Financial Officer, you will play a critical role within the senior finance leadership team, overseeing financial operations, guiding strategic planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial data across multiple companies and entities.
  • Reconcile inter-company accounts and transactions.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls across departments.
  • Collaborate with resort managers during monthly reviews of accounts receivable, property management accounts, deposit ledgers, and outstanding checks.
  • Monitor hotel financial performance, emphasizing revenue optimization, cost management, and profitability enhancement.
  • Lead group-level budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and financial institutions.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support resort-level Financial Controllers.
  • Drive the implementation of new financial and operational software solutions.
  • Manage insurance claims, including guest and vehicle incidents.
  • Prepare consolidated daily cash flow statements for the group.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations across all resorts.
  • Deliver comprehensive annual performance reports alongside resort Financial Controllers.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure precise and timely reporting and analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
  • Proven expertise in hospitality finance, including condominium operations.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle/Opera OVOS, Micros, ADP, and Sage ERP.
  • Hands-on leadership approach, with the ability to work closely with accounting teams and operational managers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing large volumes of financial data.
  • Strong mathematical and critical-thinking abilities for strategic decision-making.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing techniques.
