We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Head Chef to join a luxury boutique resort in the Caribbean. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate self motivated culinary professional who bring drive and energy to the kitchen working with a family owned rsort delivering high-quality cuisine and guest service and support a dynamic team.

The Role of the Assistant Head Chef

As Assistant Head Chef, you will:

• Support the Head Chef in shaping and delivering the culinary vision across all dining outlets and events.
• Contribute to the development of innovative menus and recipes that reflect quality, creativity, and seasonal ingredients.
• Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Assist with sourcing ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to refine food concepts and elevate the overall guest experience.
• Lead by example with a hands-on, motivational approach that fosters teamwork and professionalism.
• Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining high standards at all times.
• As Assistant Head Chef, uphold food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols across all areas of the kitchen.
• The Assistant Head Chef will play a key role in maintaining a positive kitchen culture and driving continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

•  Someone with genuine passion, energy, and a love for creating memorable food experiences.
• Experience in small, independent restaurants or family-run resorts is highly valued.
• Familiarity with island life or Caribbean hospitality culture is a strong advantage.
• Will take charge of daily kitchen operations while focusing on developing standout dining experiences in:
• Ideal for a fun, adventurous individual with solid culinary experience (not necessarily fine dining).
