Are you an experienced Director of Finance professional based in the Caribbean region, looking for an opportunity to lead a real estate and island management company with operations in the finest, most exclusive, private residential properties in the Caribbean?

As the Director of Finance, you’ll be joining an established team and leading financial strategy, financial systems design and developing business objectives into financial planning. With expertise in property and development finance, you will bring a hands-on, future-focused approach to driving growth and operational excellence.
To apply for this role, you will come with a minimum of 10 years of senior financial leadership in hospitality or property sectors, with experience managing large teams.  Familiarity with remote or island-based operations is a strong asset, along with a proven ability to lead restructuring, payroll optimization, and organizational reviews.

The Director of Finance Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations (billing, payments, payroll, ledger, reporting) with strong internal controls and industry standards.
• Enhance financial systems and procedures to drive efficiency and growth.
• Manage budgets, monthly closes, inter-company balances, and variance analysis for informed decisions.
• Deliver clear financial reports and strategic insights to leadership.
• Make data-driven investment decisions, balancing growth and risk.
• Build and present accessible financial models and forecasts.
• Provide objective budget guidance aligned with business goals.
• Advise executives on financial planning, investments, and policies.
• Mitigate financial risks to ensure operational resilience.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in accounting or a closely related field is required; an MBA or master’s in finance is strongly preferred.
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CA, CFA, or FRM are highly regarded but not essential.
• Candidates with extensive financial leadership experience and a strong track record may be considered in lieu of advanced academic qualifications.
• 10 + years’ experience in a Senior Financial role
• OECS or CARICOM Skills Certificate
