Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager – Luxury Boutique Resort
Employment Type: Full‑Time, On‑Site
Contract: 3‑Year Fixed Term (Renewable)**
A luxury boutique all‑inclusive resort is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee both front and back of house operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone with strong operational expertise, excellent team‑building skills, and a warm, culturally aware management style.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant, bar, and kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality
- Strengthen communication and coordination between FOH & BOH
- Coach, mentor, and train a long‑standing team of 17+ staff
- Support menu development with the Executive Chef
- Implement and enforce HACCP and all hygiene standards
- Oversee purchasing, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Contribute to menu costing, budgeting, and financial performance
- Assist with recruitment, scheduling, and performance reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as an F&B Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or Executive Chef
- Experience in luxury boutique hotels or upscale resort environments
- Strong understanding of both kitchen and restaurant operations
- Caribbean or multicultural team leadership experience (preferred)
- Strong HACCP, food hygiene, and back‑of‑house discipline knowledge
- Menu development experience (European/Caribbean fusion ideal)
- Basic wine knowledge and the ability to work with sommelier teams
- Hands‑on, calm, emotionally intelligent leader
- Culturally sensitive with the ability to implement change respectfully
