Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced landscaping professional to step into a management-level role supporting the delivery of high-quality grounds and environmental operations across a large-scale, premium development setting.
This position offers the chance to play a key role in overseeing landscape maintenance, project coordination, and team leadership, while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and service excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
Landscape Operations
- Assist in the planning and delivery of landscaping programmes across multiple areas
- Support installation and enhancement projects, ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Oversee horticultural areas including plant care, nursery operations, and green spaces
- Provide input into environmental initiatives such as waste handling and pest management
Planning & Coordination
- Support the organisation of daily and long-term work schedules
- Coordinate tasks across multiple teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor ongoing activities and provide regular progress updates
- Assist with preparing cost estimates and tracking project spend
Resources & Equipment
- Manage the ordering and tracking of materials, tools, and supplies
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Coordinate equipment upkeep, servicing, and repairs
Team Support & Leadership
- Work closely with supervisors to allocate labour efficiently
- Support team performance, coaching, and day-to-day management
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and workforce planning
- Promote a positive, productive working environment
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and stakeholders
- Provide updates on progress and resolve operational issues when required
Health & Safety
- Promote safe working practices across all teams
- Ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures
- Support training initiatives for equipment use and risk management
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Proven experience within landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture operations
- Previous responsibility for supervising teams and coordinating work activities
- Exposure to both routine maintenance and project-based landscaping work
- Understanding of tropical or coastal environments advantageous
Qualifications
- Qualification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related discipline
- Competent user of Microsoft Office or similar systems
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments in varying conditions
- Previous experience in remote or island-style settings beneficial
