A prestigious ultra-luxury resort and residential community is seeking an experienced Landscaping Manager to oversee and elevate all aspects of landscaping, horticulture, grounds maintenance, pest control, irrigation, and environmental sustainability across an expansive private estate.

About the Role

The Landscaping Manager will be responsible for the design, enhancement, maintenance, and long-term development of all landscaped areas, gardens, green spaces, staff housing grounds, nurseries, and supporting infrastructure.

The successful Landscaping Manager will lead both resort and residential landscaping teams while implementing innovative approaches to environmental management, horticulture, water systems, pest control, and sustainability initiatives.

As Landscaping Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the property remains among the finest maintained luxury estates in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all landscaping, horticulture, grounds maintenance, irrigation, and pest management operations.
• Develop and implement landscape improvement projects and master plans.
• Lead hurricane preparedness programs relating to landscaping and grounds protection.
• Manage landscaping teams across resort, residential, and ancillary property locations.
• Develop strong relationships with specialist suppliers, consultants, nurseries, and environmental partners.
• Maintain nurseries, botanical collections, and agricultural initiatives.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules to support seasonal growth cycles and environmental challenges.
• Monitor landscaping budgets, inventories, reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all maintenance records, service histories, and operational documentation are maintained to the highest standards.
• Promote safe working practices and environmental compliance across all operations.
• Drive innovation through new technologies, sustainable practices, renewable solutions, and advanced landscape management techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of all grounds, gardens, and infrastructure systems.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience through beautifully maintained outdoor environments.
• Candidate Requirements
• Degree or diploma in Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Landscaping Manager role within a luxury resort, residential community, hospitality, or estate environment.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Experience managing large-scale tropical or resort landscapes.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant health, pest management, and environmental best practices.
• Ability to read site plans, technical drawings, and maintenance specifications.
• Strong planning, organisational, and project management skills.
• Passion for creating exceptional outdoor environments and delivering world-class standards.
