As Director of Landscaping, you will oversee all landscaping operations, ensuring the highest standards of horticulture, grounds maintenance, and environmental sustainability. The successful Director of Landscaping will be responsible for strategic planning, departmental leadership, budget management, and developing a highly motivated team dedicated to maintaining exceptional outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall landscaping strategy across the resort.
• Lead, coach, and inspire the landscaping team to achieve outstanding results.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Ensure all gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and outdoor spaces are maintained to luxury hospitality standards.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programmes and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, develop, and performance manage team members.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and best practices in horticulture and grounds management.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Director of Landscaping or in a senior landscaping leadership role within luxury hospitality, resorts, estates, or high-end commercial properties.
• Passion for horticulture and creating exceptional outdoor environments.
• Professional horticultural qualification or certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Experience managing budgets, operational planning, and department performance.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
• Excellent organisational and project management capabilities.
• Previous experience within a luxury service environment is highly desirable.
