New Recruits International is partnering with a highly regarded luxury hospitality operator to recruit an experienced Director of Rooms.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional who is passionate about guest experience, operational excellence, team development, and driving performance across a luxury resort environment. The successful candidate will become a key member of the senior leadership team and play a vital role in shaping the overall guest journey. 

The Role

As Director of Rooms, you will provide leadership across the entire Rooms Division, ensuring exceptional standards are consistently delivered while maximizing guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, and financial performance.

You will oversee key operational departments including:

• Front Office & Guest Services
• Guest Relations
• Concierge Services
• Housekeeping
• Laundry Operations
• Spa Operations and guest-facing amenities

This role requires a visible leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational management. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire multiple guest-facing departments.
• Deliver exceptional service standards throughout the guest journey.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, payroll, and operating expenses.
• Analyse performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure staffing levels and resources are aligned with business demands.
• Drive employee engagement, coaching, training, and succession planning.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.
• Partner with senior leadership to achieve overall business objectives.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. 

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced hospitality leader with:

• Previous leadership experience within Rooms Division operations.
• A strong background in Guest Services, Front Office, Housekeeping, or Resort Operations.
• Experience working within luxury hotels or resorts.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and multiple departments.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• A passion for delivering world-class guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience managing service standards while maintaining commercial performance. 

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be viewed favourably:

• Luxury resort operations
