Executive Chef

A luxury boutique resort is seeking a hands‑on Executive Chef with strong kitchen management experience and a proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a long‑standing culinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in elevating standards, strengthening discipline, and nurturing a collaborative, inclusive environment where people feel supported and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all kitchen operations with clear structure, discipline, and high standards
• Deliver consistent food quality, presentation excellence, and full HACCP compliance
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and skills development for the team
• Guide a gradual, respectful transformation of menus, maintaining guest familiarity
• Build a unified, cooperative culture that strengthens communication across all roles
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and cost controls while supporting local suppliers
• Partner with F&B leadership to ensure seamless FOH–BOH collaboration

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef
• Strong leadership with demonstrated success in kitchen management and team building
• Passion for training, mentoring, and fostering inclusive team culture
• Experience with menu development and phased menu evolution
• Caribbean experience is essential
• Warm, calm, fair, and emotionally intelligent leadership style
• Ability to bring teams together, resolve issues respectfully, and drive positive morale
