Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, private dining experiences, and special events.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support business objectives and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop food and beverage team members.
• Drive service excellence through coaching, performance management, and continuous training.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, stock control, and cost management to maximise profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
• Review and enhance menus, beverage programs, and guest offerings in collaboration with culinary teams.
• Oversee wine, beverage, and specialty product programs while ensuring proper storage and service standards.
• Manage budgets, labour costs, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and implement solutions to continually improve the guest experience.
• Maintain strong collaboration with departmental leaders to achieve overall business goals.

Candidate Profile

The ideal Director of Food & Beverage will possess:

• A degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
• Significant leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality environments.
• Strong business acumen with proven success managing budgets and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A passion for guest service and creating exceptional dining experiences.
• Experience leading diverse teams and driving positive workplace culture.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
