A prestigious luxury resort in the Caribbean is seeking an accomplished Director of Housekeeping to lead its housekeeping operation and uphold the highest standards of service and presentation across the property.

The Role
As Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring world-class cleanliness, service excellence, and an outstanding guest experience throughout the resort.
You will lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team while maintaining luxury hospitality standards and driving continuous improvement across all housekeeping functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain exceptional luxury and Forbes-standard housekeeping practices.
- Recruit, train, mentor and develop housekeeping team members.
- Drive departmental performance, productivity and service standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and implement action plans where required.
- Manage departmental budgets, labour costs, inventory and procurement.
- Collaborate with Rooms Division and senior leadership teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain health, safety and compliance standards across the department.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Director of Housekeeping, Executive Housekeeper or similar senior housekeeping leadership position.
- Strong background within luxury hotels, resorts or branded hospitality environments.
- Experience within Forbes-rated, five-star or ultra-luxury properties preferred.
- Caribbean or island hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven ability to drive service excellence and operational performance.
