As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service delivery aligned with luxury standards and LQA expectations. You will lead, train, and motivate team members while maintaining exceptional guest interactions and upholding the refined dining culture expected in the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise restaurant operations
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and continuously enhance satisfaction levels
  • Professionally handle and resolve guest concerns and service recovery situations
  • Train new and existing team members on service standards, menu changes, and guest interaction protocols
  • Organize, supervise, and manage staff shifts and daily line‑ups
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to drive productivity
  • Forecast inventory needs and oversee the ordering and receiving of food and beverage supplies
  • Control operational costs and implement strategies to reduce waste
  • Prepare detailed reports on revenue performance and operational expenses
  • Ensure full compliance with sanitation, safety, and food handling regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or culinary training is an asset
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or in a similar leadership role
  • Demonstrated LQA experience is required, with a clear understanding of luxury service benchmarks
  • Strong wine knowledge is required, including confident wine service, pairing recommendations, and guest guidance
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge with the ability to recall ingredients and menu details
  • Sound financial and cost‑control skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities
  • Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with restaurant management systems, including Micros administrative functions
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and handling standards
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a Caribbean luxury environment
