Finance Director

A prestigious ultra‑luxury residential and resort environment is seeking a driven, energetic, and highly skilled Finance Director to lead all financial operations across a multi‑entity structure. This is a senior on‑property leadership role responsible for delivering precise financial reporting, strong internal controls, and exceptional governance support within a sophisticated hospitality and residential management setting. The ideal candidate brings integrity, accuracy, and the ability to operate confidently in a fast‑paced, service‑focused environment—ideally with meaningful exposure to Caribbean financial operations or hospitality structures, where multi‑entity governance and owner relations require exceptional professionalism.

Role Overview

The Finance Director will oversee all financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, payroll, owner accounting, cash‑flow planning, audit coordination, and regulatory oversight. This role works closely with the General Manager, Executive Committee, and Board, providing strategic financial guidance while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and operational excellence. Experience within the Caribbean is a strong advantage given the unique regulatory, operational, and hospitality‑driven requirements of the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, reconciliations, variance analyses, and reporting packages

  • Manage annual operating and capital budgets for multiple entities

  • Oversee owner billing, rental‑program statements, AP/AR, payroll, and statutory compliance

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to GAAP and all regulatory requirements

  • Lead cash‑flow forecasting, reserve‑fund planning, and capital‑project financial oversight

  • Coordinate yearly audits and maintain banking, insurance, and compliance relationships

  • Provide financial insights and strategic support to senior leadership and cross‑department managers

  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and communication with owners and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred)

  • 7–10+ years of senior financial leadership; hospitality, strata, or residential management experience preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in accounting systems

  • Proven experience managing complex multi‑entity financial structures

  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication abilities

  • Ability to operate independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities

  • Prior exposure to Caribbean operational frameworks is highly beneficial and Caribbean financial experience is strongly preferred
