About the Role
As the Senior PV Installer, you’ll take a hands‑on leadership role in delivering high‑quality solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy, problem‑solving, and working on diverse projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead installation teams for solar PV projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors
- Manage procurement, logistics, and scheduling for installation activities
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and system performance checks
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and partners
- Ensure quality control, safety standards, and project documentation
- Interpret engineering drawings and use CAD tools when required
Requirements
- Fully qualified, time‑served electrician with 10+ years of experience
- Minimum 5 years as a Solar PV Installer
- Advanced Renewable Energy certification (e.g., USSI PV201 or equivalent)
- Strong experience with:
- Grid‑tied, grid‑interactive & off‑grid systems
- 2‑phase and 3‑phase installations
- Proficient in CAD and comfortable reading technical drawings
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Willingness to work across multiple inhabited islands
Desirable Experience
- Microgrid and solar farm installations
- Ground‑mount piling systems
- Medium voltage systems
- Electrical system design
- NABCEP PVIP certification (preferred but not required)
