General Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Define and implement strategic plans that align with brand objectives and market trends.
- Manage financial performance through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Oversee all operational areas to guarantee exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and brand standards across all departments.
- Lead and develop department heads and staff through coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on engagement and accountability.
- Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and marketing initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation and proactive problem-solving.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8–10 years in senior leadership roles within luxury hospitality.
- Strong financial expertise with experience in P&L management and strategic planning.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain high engagement levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar systems is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with occasional travel.
